BBB including English Literature or English Language and Literature
Studying English on the Foundation Year isn’t just for those with a love of reading – it is for those who want to be introduced to new cultures, histories and ways of thinking. Nowhere could be a better place to study than at Lady Margaret Hall - English was one of the first subjects to be taught when the college opened its doors back in 1878, and Elizabeth Wordsworth, the first principal of the college, was a great niece of the poet William Wordsworth.
