FAQs

My subject isn't offered - can I apply for a different subject at Undergraduate?
We do not recommend studying a subject on the Foundation Year that you do not wish to continue with at undergraduate study. This is because the Foundation Year is heavily subject specific, and sets you up very well for undergraduate study in your particular subject. We would therefore not recommend applying for Biology if, for example, you intend to do Medicine at undergraduate level.

I've applied for Oxford or Cambridge Undergraduate - can I still apply for the Foundation Year?
Yes, you are welcome to apply for the Foundation Year. However, if you are offered a place on an undergraduate course at Oxford or Cambridge then we would not recommend that you continue with your Foundation Year application

Is progression onto Undergraduate at Oxford guaranteed?
No. You will need to apply through UCAS in October 2022, and take all relevant tests/interviews. We will help you prepare for these, but you are not guaranteed an interview or a place at Oxford. For more information progression, including statistics, please see this page here.

Can I apply if I am an International Student/Studying overseas?
No. We're really sorry, but the course is only available to students who are eligible for 'home fee status'.
